What if my company is VAT exempt?
Conference and training fees remain subject to VAT where they take place. Anyone who wishes to undertake training in the UK is subject to 20% VAT. HMRC in the UK have issued a Business Brief that can be found at http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/briefs/vat/brief5210.htm

Unless you have a VAT exemption certificate from your local tax authorities, we are unable to issue you an invoice without any VAT.

Companies travelling to events overseas can reclaim the foreign VAT on event expenses*. You can register to reclaim your foreign VAT: Web: www.eventrefunds.com/iirex; Phone: +353 1 878 3361; Fax: +353 1 878 3382; Email: vat@eventrefunds.com. *Terms & Conditions Apply

What if I need a visa to attend?
We are happy to supply you with an invitation letter providing payment has been received. Unfortunately we are unable to issue a letter without payment as company policy dictates that they are processed only when payment has been received. You need to apply under a "student visitor visa" for IFF training courses in London. For more information you can go to the UK borders agencies website:
http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/visitingtheuk/businessandspecialvisitors/

IFF cannot be held responsible for the refusal to grant a visa, and in such circumstances, the normal cancellation and transfer charges will apply. However, IFF Training is accredited by the British Accreditation Council (BAC). The British Accreditation Council is recognised internationally and provides the clearest mark of educational quality and excellence. Accreditation by BAC is recognised by the UK Border Agency and is considered to be bona fide by immigration officials. New regulations have recently come into effect so that visas are only granted to delegates at accredited institutions such as IFF so the fact that IFF is BAC-accredited should help with your visa application. Please ring us on +44 (0)20 7017 7190 for more information.

Disability Policy
We endeavour to make our courses as fully accessible as we can to those with disabilities or special needs (such as issues relating to mobility, impairment of hearing, vision or speech) and ensure that that the provision of our IFF courses (including the event facilities) comply with all applicable equality legislation.

To enable us to provide assistance where we are reasonably able to do so, delegates need to notify us of any special requirement. So please contact us at +44 (0)20 7017 7190 or cs@iff-training.com in good time before the course if you have any special requirements and we will do all we can to help. For example, we are happy to supply the learning materials prior to the event if this would assist in the case of relevant disability. Additionally, we are happy for you to bring guide dogs, signers or interpreters if this is necessary. However please note that our courses are taught in English and a sufficient level of English is assumed. Unfortunately due to course dynamics we can’t have language interpreters present at our courses.
