Course Leader

Your course leader has had a career in the financial services industry that has seen him gain 30 years of experience in a wide variety of roles. This extensive knowledge covers securities and derivatives and includes managing at director level operations teams in major banks like Warburgs and SBC now part of UBS. In his current role, he is actively involved in consultancy and training work with a wide variety of clients in the United Kingdom and globally. He has worked for clients based in many countries including Europe, India, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, the United States, Dubai, Kuwait, Beirut, South Africa and Bermuda.

Specialising in operational issues and operations processes and procedures, he has also written ten books covering subjects such as clearing, settlement and custody, operational risk, fund administration, clearing and settlement of derivatives, operations management and financial markets for Elsevier and Wiley. He is involved in preparing e-learning products and also works with the Securities and Investment Institute on their examination workbooks. He is a member of the Securities and Investment Institute, The Institute of Directors and the Guild of International Bankers.
