Steve Mills has become a well-known figure in project finance training since leaving the City of London to devote himself to PF training and mentoring. He was Head of Oil and Gas Project Finance for Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS), which enjoyed a leading position globally in limited-recourse finance. Steve is a career project finance banker with 30 years of experience in lending and advisory work. Before joining RBS (in 2000) he headed oil and gas and wider project finance teams at Sumitomo Bank and Commerzbank.
Steve now develops and delivers training in project finance by means of public courses and tailored tuition structured for clients (banks, government and multilateral bodies, legal firms and oil and gas companies).He is the Course Director for “The Mechanics of Project Finance” – a university-accredited post-graduate course in limited-recourse financing - and a past tutor on the Global Energy MBA course at Warwick Business School.
