The course takes place over 14 weeks and comprises seven core units. The units will be released every two weeks from the start of the course.
At the end of each unit there is an assessment that will allow you to benchmark your growth in knowledge and understanding. For those wishing to receive a Post Graduate Certificate from Middlesex University, an additional marked assignment of 5000 words will also need to be submitted.
Each unit is now complimented by videos from the course director, Clive Corcoran, taking you through the components of the course with particular emphasis on complex areas.

Clive is an FSA registered investment adviser, financial trainer & author. He was founder & CEO of a personal management company. His responsibilities included providing financial advice & business management to owners of intellectual property & high net worth individuals. After relocating to the UK in 2000, he continued to be engaged in providing wealth management services to private clients & has been an adviser to small pension funds.
Since 2007 his activities have been primarily as a contractor to financial education providers, whilst running executive education workshops.
Didi Pearson has 18 years’ experience in financial services regulation with a particular focus on regulatory standards for data reporting. Didi joined the UK Financial Services Authority (now the Financial Conduct Authority) in 1999 after reading law and qualifying as a barrister. She held a variety of roles shaping UK regulation before moving to the Bank of England, becoming a Senior Adviser on regulatory data. Since 2017 she has worked in consulting at BearingPoint in the design of software solutions and data models for regulatory reporting.
You have a unique opportunity to choose a validated option for this course and receive a Post Graduate Certificate on completion. This programme is quality assured by Middlesex University and you will receive a Middlesex award on successful completion. However, if the validated option isn’t important to you there is still the opportunity to take the standard course.
