Course Leader

Your course leader is an industry practitioner with a wealth of practical experience in the fields of securities and derivatives operations. As a senior manager in major organisations and now as a consultant and trainer, he works with leading banks, brokers, fund management companies, exchanges and clearing houses in the U.K. and numerous locations overseas. His knowledge of the operational areas of both securities and derivatives is extensive and covers investment banking, fund management and clearing and custody provision. He will share the experiences of many years dealing with the issues that arise in operations at organisations such Warburgs, Eagle Star Investment Managers, Sumitomo and SBC. Using his current involvement in areas such as operational risk management, training and authoring books for companies such as the Securities Institute and in helping firms meet the challenges of the consolidation of exchanges and clearing organisations he will provide an interesting, practical and informative course.
